Stephen Leinenweber is the Vice President of Strategy for PM Pediatrics, responsible for assisting other senior leadership in developing, communicating, executing and sustaining PM Pediatrics’ business models for success. He also serves as Vice President of Clinical Operations for PM Pediatrics in the Midwest/Southeast Regions, where he is responsible for leading the development of PM Pediatrics locations in North Carolina, Tennessee, and developing regions, as well as overseeing process improvements to accelerate and drive both operational efficiency and clinical excellence. Prior to joining PM Pediatrics, Dr. Leinenweber was the Executive Medical Director of the Children’s Hospital for WakeMed Health and Hospitals in Raleigh, North Carolina. There, Dr. Leinenweber helped the children’s hospital transition from an acute care hospital to a children’s community health system by rapidly expanding ambulatory services. Dr. Leinenweber was also the director of pediatric critical care, director of pediatric critical care fellowship, and the associate residency director at the University of North Carolina. He has received numerous teaching awards and is board certified in both pediatric critical care and pediatrics. Dr. Leinenweber completed his fellowship at Duke University Medical Center and his residency at Cook County Hospital. He received his medical degree from Rush University and bachelor of arts from the University of Notre Dame.
