Advanced Pediatric Life Support Course (APLS)
APLS is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Course that is designed to provide a core knowledge in Pediatric Emergency Medicine for healthcare providers. This course provides physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists and other allied health providers the information necessary to assess and manage ill or injured children in emergency settings including hospitals and physician’s offices. Going beyond basic resuscitation, it is designed to meet the advanced skills and knowledge levels of the physician dealing with serious pediatric diseases and problems.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
BLS course teaches healthcare professionals CPR, relief of choking and use of AED for infant, children and adults.
HeartSaver CPR AED
HeartSaver CPR AED will teach the skills needed to perform adult, child and infant CPR, relief of choking and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
PALS course gives healthcare professionals the knowledge and skills to better recognize and treat critically ill infants and children. Aimed at healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies, the course uses a scenario-based team approach in teaching pediatric emergency management of patients near or in respiratory or cardiac arrest. The course covers treatment beyond the first few emergency minutes and continues through stabilizing patients for the transport phases of a pediatric emergency, into or out of the hospital.
