Dr. Joshua Sherman is a Regional Medical Director for PM Pediatrics, where he is responsible for leading the development of PM Pediatrics locations in the Los Angeles region, ensuring consistency and excellence, overseeing education and training, as well as clinical operations and quality initiatives for future sites in the region. He also serves as the Medical Director for PM Pediatrics of Pico-Robertson. Prior to joining PM Pediatrics, Dr. Sherman was a faculty attending in the Division of Emergency Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the USC-Keck School of Medicine. He also served as the Associate Director of Emergency Department Quality Improvement, focusing on patient care and safety, as well as the Emergency Division liaison to the Trauma Committee. Dr. Sherman’s clinical research focuses on Virtual Reality for Medical Simulation as well as teamwork and communication among medical providers. Dr. Sherman is board certified in both Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics. He completed both his Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship and Pediatric residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York. Dr. Sherman earned his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University, and received his undergraduate degree from SUNY Binghamton.
